Does anyone else think modern christianity is irrational with it's dogma and message?
I was raised as a Christian; but as I got older, and experienced the world and different ideas, the Christian concept of an all-powerful "God" that will help you with your problems if you just "believe" in a certain man-god called "Jesus" was stating to seem irrational in the 21st century. Let's see, if you read and believe in a long book called the Bible that was written over many centuries by MAN and EDITED by King James and other MEN; then give people called preachers money "tithes" in the collection plate AKA huge SCAM. THEN, If you're "good"(whatever that means) your soul goes to Heaven for eternity and if you're "bad" your soul goes to "Hell" for eternity. Don't you ppl think there is a more holistic universal truth to life and the Universe itself beyond the physical; not limited to man-made dogma and "teachings", man doesn't even know what the Truth is. Why doesn't religion ADMIT they're just GUESSING at what the truth of life is?
