Description: This concept is an abstracted variation on the theme of the Grand Avenue/Rio Grande Avenue intersection
that is part of this project. The symbol encloses the intersection in a dynamic diamond shape, the thickness of
which echoes the thickness of the font, creating unity in the design.
The color palette is based on the local Uncompahgre River, a Ute word that translates as “where water
makes rock red”. Combinations of these colors will be used in the project materials.
